Dua Lipa is an English musician and singer who was born on August 22 1995 in London United Kingdom. Dua Lipa signed to Warner Bros Records in 2014 after working as a model. She then released her self-titled debut album in the year 2017. The album climbed to number 3 at the U.K. Charts and produced eight singles. They included Be The One I.D.G.A.F The U.K. Number One single New Rules as well as the U.K. No. 1 single New Rules. Lipa was awarded an award called the Brit Award in the year 2018, as a British Female Soloist and British Breakthrough Artist. The album has been certified platinum in many nations. She was born to Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa Rexha and Dukagjin Lipa. Dua Lipa is Bosnian origin through her maternal grandparents. Her ancestors could also be identified back to the Kosovo city of Peja. Two of Lipa's grandfathers are historians. Her siblings include Rina and Gjin. The father of Lipa, the guitarist and lead singer of Kosovan band Oda had a profound influence on her musical tastes. In her home, Lipa's father continued playing music.
