Simone Biles

Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born on March 14, 1997 in Columbus Ohio U.S.A. In the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals at a single Games as well as the first gymnast in history to win three consecutive world all-around titles (2013-15). Biles lived at Spring Texas in the Houston metro area, where she and her sister Adria had been adopted by grandparents Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone was first able to show an interest in gymnastics as an infant during a school field trip to Bannon Gymnastix. Aimee Borman was her coach throughout the next eleven years. Biles won a gold in the floor and bronze in vault during the women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010. She then stepped into the elite level of gymnastics in the year 2011. In less than two years, she had become the top athlete in her field. Biles's consistent, exuberant personality and the level of effort for her four eventsvault uneven bars balance beam floor workout and floor exercise -- made her above the others.
