Zoe Saldana is an American actress and dancer who jumped to fame with her high-profile roles in blockbuster films such as Pirates of the Caribbean. Star Trek Star Trek Into Darkness, Avatar and The Curse of the Black Pearl. Saldana began her career as a stage actor with a small amount. She was also a ballet dancer. Her debut break was through Center Stage. She had performed in many plays, in both FACES theatre and the New York Youth Theatre group. Saldana has continued to have immense success with an impressive list of highest grossing international film productions. The versatility of her work gives Saldana an advantage over others in her age. Saldana does not limit herself to a particular genre and has portrayed effortless performance in films of broad subjects, all the way from romance comedy to Sci-fi, action and drama, and on.
