Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts' parents are Walter Grady Roberts and Betty Lou Bredemus. Julia Fona Roberts is the fourth generation Roberts that resided in Atlanta. Her father was interested in theatre at an early age. As a student in Emory University he appeared in diverse productions, both on and off the campus. In 1953, he enlisted in the Air Force, and was stationed at Biloxi in Mississippi acted in a show that he performed in with Betty Lou Bredemus. In 1955, the couple married and their child Eric Anthony was born. Walter went to Tulane University New Orleans Louisiana after leaving the Airforce in the year 1957. Walter joined Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio when they moved their family from Atlanta to Decatur, Georgia in 1960. Walter along with Betty Lou produced a Saturday morning local television show for kids called Bum Bum and His Buddies in 1964, a project that they funded themselves. In 1964 Walter and Betty Lou established The Actors and Writers Workshop. The workshop lasted about six years. The couple had another two children. Lelisa Billingsley (1965) (also named Lisa) as well as Julia Billingsley (1967) (also known as Julie).
