Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts is the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus, and Walter Grady Roberts. She was born on 28 October 1967 at Atlanta. Her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer who was also the first Roberts to settle in Atlanta. Her father took the first interest to the theatre. When he was a college student studying at Emory University from 1952 to 1954, he took part in several shows. Following his air force service and appearing in an air force production in Biloxi together with Betty Lou Bredemus. They got married in the year 1955 and the couple's first child Eric Anthony was born in 1956. In 1957 the couple left the military and Walter began his studies at Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. Walter was recruited by Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio to assist on the stage of the television show Bum Bum His Buddies. The show was filmed in Decatur Georgia. Walter and Betty Lou financed their own production of a local Sunday morning show for children, Bum Bum and His Buddies. They also founded a six-year Actors and Writers Workshop later the same year. In 1965, they welcomed two children to the family: Lelisa Billingsley and Julia Billingsley.
